Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Assistant Director to support the daily operations of our Adult Daycare program while being trained for a future Director role. This position is ideal for a professional looking to grow into leadership within the adult daycare industry. The Assistant Director will work closely with the Director to ensure program excellence, regulatory compliance, staff management, and a high standard of participant care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Training: Assist in the overall management of the facility and participate in a structured training program to prepare for a future Director role.
- Client Services: Ensure participants receive high-quality care, engaging activities, and appropriate support tailored to their needs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and health & safety standards.
- Staff Supervision: Support in recruiting, training, and supervising staff to uphold the values and mission of Renaissance Adult Daycare.
- Program Development: Assist in planning and executing daily activities that promote socialization, cognitive engagement, and overall well-being of participants.
- Family & Community Engagement: Build relationships with families, caregivers, and community partners to enhance support networks and program awareness.
- Administrative Support: Help manage scheduling, record-keeping, budgeting, and reporting to maintain efficient operations.
- Crisis Management: Assist in handling emergencies, medical situations, and behavioral challenges with professionalism and care.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Gerontology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in adult daycare, senior care, or healthcare administration.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for working with seniors and individuals with special needs.
- Knowledge of Medicaid, state regulations, and adult day health services is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a person-centered approach.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
