Hours will vary in this position, with work assigned based on bookings and availability.
Job Summary:
The Xploration STEM Instructor will travel locally to a school/organization each assigned work day. The instructor will lead elementary students through fun, hands-on and curriculum relevant STEM activities.
Responsibilities:
Travel locally to program sites in your personal vehicle while transporting provided Xploration activity supplies
Execute Xploration academic enrichment at each scheduled program site
Create an exciting, hands-on STEM learning experience
Initiate engaging discussions, interact with the children and encourage them to participate
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma, HiSet or GED
Experience working with school age children is required
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must have own reliable transportation
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
Must be able to work independently
Local travel only – monthly mileage reimbursement
