What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant or LPN position at Adult Medical Services?
Adult Medical Services is an independent primary care office that focuses on patient relationships, and quality outcomes. We are located in a beautiful new office in Williamsville and are looking for either a part time or full time addition to our clinical team. Essential Duties:
- Assist the practitioners with clinical duties and patient care
- Obtain vitals and review medication lists
- Review preventative screening measures with patients
- Prepare lab and imaging orders
- Manage electronic medical records for chart prep
- Accurately input patient data
- Assist with prior authorizations, referral and lab tracking
- Provide vaccination and injections if licensure allows.
- Review and update care plans and assist with transitional care services
Qualifications
- Clinical care and administrative support experience
- Proficient in EHR systems, specifically MEDENT
- Knowledge of medical terminology and physiology
- Ability to perform vital signs, EKG, Spirometry, Nebulizer treatments
- Basic life support certification
- Experience in private practice setting
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
