What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist/New Patient Coordinator position at Adult Medicine of Lake County?
We are a fast paced primary care medical office looking for an upbeat go-getter who is open to learning and happy to help create an illustrious experience for our new and current patients. Front desk is the first and last face the patient when coming to the doctor, and as a team we try to make sure our patients always leave with a smile.
An Ideal candidate would have:
- Great phone and communication skills, a radiant smile and positive attitude, ability to work well independently as well as in a team, computer skills, EClinicalWorks EMR experience, medical office experience, and a willingness to learn.
A typical day would include:
- Being a direct contact for new patients to ensure a smooth process of establishing with the practice, creating patients charts, checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, transferring calls as needed, helping team members out as needed, checking insurance eligibility, and scanning and faxing records as needed.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
