The Radiologic Imaging Specialist will perform high-quality urological MRI procedures in accordance with radiation safety protocols to provide accurate imaging information for diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in MRI and CT examinations, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain competency in MRI and CT examinations, procedures, and techniques.
- Responsible for all aspects of MRI and CT examinations and reporting, including critical test result communication.
- Demonstrate skill and knowledge to identify disease abnormalities and physiological processes during MRI and CT examinations.
- Screen patients for ferromagnetic objects and ensure adherence to MRI safety zone requirements.
- Solve problems related to daily operations and maintain the approved recall system for follow-up tests.
Requirements:
- Completion of a 24-month AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- MRI Certification or board eligibility – must pass certification within 6 months of hire.
- 1-year minimum previous experience in MRI and CT.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
