Job Summary

The Marketing & Outreach Specialist is responsible for promoting the mission of Adult & Teen Challenge of Arkansas by increasing awareness, engaging with the community, and driving outreach efforts to connect individuals and families in need with our addiction rehabilitation programs. This role involves strategic marketing, public relations, event coordination, and networking with referral partners to ensure those struggling with addiction find the help they need. This position reports to the Admissions Director.

Qualifications :

Passion for faith-based addiction recovery and alignment with the mission of Adult & Teen Challenge.

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.

2 years of experience in nonprofit or ministry marketing, outreach, or community engagement is preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.

Ability to connect with diverse populations, including those in recovery, faith-based communities, and community organizations.

Knowledge of addiction recovery principles and rehabilitation services.

Experience working in a faith-based organization or ministry.

Self-motivated, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Must have and maintain a valid Drivers License, maintain automobile insurance coverage and have access to an automobile.

Willingness to travel locally for outreach and networking events.

Must be able to pass drug and nicotine test.

Competencies :

Work effectively with culturally diverse population and be sensitive to the needs of each population.

Communicate compassionately and effectively with clients, health care professionals, and the general public.

Able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Physically able to walk, stand, and stoop for several hours each day.

Employee travels by automobile and is exposed to changing weather conditions.

Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners, including churches, healthcare providers, social service organizations, community leaders, and other referral sources to increase program visibility.

Conduct outreach efforts through presentations, networking events, and community engagement activities.

Promote Adult & Teen Challenge of Arkansas through digital and traditional marketing strategies.

Represent the organization at conferences, expos, community events, conferences, and networking meetings to increase awareness and referrals.

Serve as a key point of contact for potential clients, families, and referral partners, providing information and guidance about program enrollment.

Follow up with inquiries, applications, and potential clients to facilitate their entry into the program.

Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts and report on progress to leadership.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing materials and outreach strategies.

Assist with social media and online marketing campaigns as needed.
