Accounting/Administrative Specialist

Job Description

Job Summary:

• Adult & Teen Challenge of Oklahoma is a Christian, non-profit organization that provides faith-based residential recovery programs for adults & teens struggling with addiction and life controlling behaviors across the state of Oklahoma. The Accounting/Admin. Specialist works in the Administration Office in Oklahoma City aiding with various clerical, HR, and accounting tasks.
  
  

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.
  
  

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Daily data entry into AR software program Blackbaud and mailing receipts.
• Daily data entry of receipts, deposits, and invoices into QuickBooks Online.
• Liaison with Executive Assistants in satellite offices to complete accounting/HR tasks.
• Accurately prepare, maintain, and store accounting & HR documents and records.
• Process and mail vendor payments.
• Process employee onboarding and termination documents for accuracy and completion.
• Administer employee benefits & training programs.
• Answer incoming calls in professional, courteous manner.
• Retrieve, sort, process mail daily.
• Order/restock office supplies. At times, light cleaning of offices.
• Perform tasks as assigned by Staff Accountant, CFO, & CEO.
  
  

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Accounts Payable/Receivable & HR experience preferred
• Competency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• High attention to detail
• Ability to problem solve
• Data entry & word processing skills
• Highly organized and ability to multitask
• Complete 20 CEU’s in calendar year - Required
• Professional appearance and appropriate communication with co-workers and vendors
  
  

Education & Experience:

• Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
• QuickBooks Online – one year preferred
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
  
  

Details/Benefits:

• On site work. Remote work not available.
• Full-Time: 35-40 hours per week.
• Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour.
