Job Summary: Direct Care Staff will provide spiritual leadership and encouragement to students while also continually supervising students. This position is an on-campus, full-time position. Housing available.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 30 hours of training in childcare or related field (Provided by organization)
- Maintain First Aid and CPR certification (Certification training provided by organization)
- Knowledge of Christian discipleship and mentor relationships; Agree to complete the Bridge Courses (company pays) Effective Biblical Counseling course or an equivalent course
- A background check and reference is required
- A good driving record
Relationships: The Direct Care staff is responsible to the Program Manager and Director
Responsibilities: will primarily serve as a minister to students in the boys program.
Responsibilities include but not be limited to:
- Conduct Daily Devotions and prayer
- Work with other departments to comply with all Texas DFPS regulations
- Participate in campus events and chapels as required
- Supervision, mentoring, and interacting with students during various activities, which may include but is not limited to online school, TC Curriculum, work periods, free time, and recreational activities.
- Administer discipline as is necessary according to policies
- All other duties as assigned by the Program Manager
