Job Description:
Experience with YAMAHA pick & place machine is preferred.
General knowledge of solder pastes and solder paste printing machine.
Monitor product through entire SMT process.
Operate screen printing machines (Semi-automatic & Automatic)
LED Assembly knowledge will be a plus.
Follow First Article approval process before running entire batch.
Hand Solder / De-solder components.
Hand place components.
Troubleshoot and Rework component placement.
To follow the office policy of the company and perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/ Manager/Management.

Responsibilities for SMT machine operator:
Surface mount technology (SMT) machine operators work with SMT machines which solder small parts such as Printed circuit Board, transformers, sockets, and other electronic components.
Good manual dexterity is necessary to position, align, and place components for SMT machines, which must be tended by replenishing their supplies and programming them in an efficient manner.
Load proper parts into machine and fill solder paste.
Inspect and test finished SMT products for quality.
Must monitor the output of machines to ensure quality, and maintenance and calibration are periodically necessary for these machines, troubleshooting and simple repairs when machines are not functioning properly.
Consistently meet all productivity and deadline goals and ensure that the area is always kept clean and free of hazards, and machines should be prepared for the next job, when possible, to save time.
Operate and monitor an automated machine for insertion of electronic components using the surface mount technology (SMT).
Adjust and run the printer equipment to apply the solder paste.
Load and validate positioning of the feeders to ensure proper feeding to the machine according to the selected program.
Feed the machine with printed circuit boards, and monitor production flow,
Previous experience with PnP, Machining, Production, Manufacturing Methods, and Procedures.
Ability to read work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
Must be experienced with IPC-610/J-STD workmanship standards class II & III and must know how to identify component polarity, color code and values.
Two plus years of Surface Mount experience and machine operations running pick and place, reflow ovens and stencil printers.
Must be computer literate and capable of loading and navigating through multiple programs for all surface mount equipment.
