- Adobe seeks a hardworking and creative attorney to advise the Adobe Experience Platform and Real-Time Customer Data Platform, engineering, and marketing teams. Adobe Experience Platform is an open and extensible platform that helps Adobe's enterprise customers centralize and standardize customer data and content from various sources and apply data science and machine learning to improve the design and delivery of rich, personalized experiences.
- The ideal candidate will be proficient in data protection laws globally, including the individual rights and business requirements of state privacy laws. This role requires an adaptability approach to keep up with emerging legal issues, changing regulations, and industry trends while bringing a high level of passion and providing timely, accurate, and well-reasoned responses to queries from internal clients.
- Support product teams as they develop and bring new technologies and product offerings to market by helping to identify and resolve privacy, IP, go-to-market, and license compliance issues.
- Build positive relationships with the Adobe Experience Platform business, including product marketing, product management, engineering, technical operations, client care, pricing, and sales.
- Provide legal product support, including AI development, to teams involved in the development and marketing stages, from concept to launch, while cross-collaborating with legal peers.
- Collaborate with subject matter authorities in the Legal and Government Relations (LGR) Organization, including privacy, patent, copyright, security, and licensing attorneys, to analyze legal risks and support the business.
- Anticipate client needs to facilitate crafting and improving processes, forms, templates, knowledge resources, and training to drive efficiency.
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant legal experience (e.g., software licensing, supporting clients in the cloud-based services industry, supporting product development and go-to-market).
- Practical interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with proficiency in transactional agreements (preferably software licensing agreements).
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to think creatively.
- Proficient with and interested in global and state data regulations and privacy issues.
- Technical background or interest in software products and development.
- Dedication to providing clients with high-quality and timely legal advice.
- Validated ability to balance and prioritize opposing projects/demands.
- Desire to build an exciting career within LGR at Adobe.
- Enthusiastic, hard-working, with a proven understanding of the business industry to provide legal advice that supports Adobe's growth and strategic objectives while managing legal risks.
- A bias for sharing relevant information across teams, within legal, and with peers across the Digital Experience legal teams.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
