Position Summary:
Oversee and direct all operations for grocery, fresh, frozen and break pack distribution and transportation operation servicing Ahold Delhaize Supply Chain. The overall goal for this position is to establish and deliver financial, productivity, efficiency, service, and people targets for a single Distribution and Transportation campus. Direct management of the following functions: Inventory, Audit, Slotting, Security, Transportation, Maintenance, Facilities, WMS/Technology, Retail Customer support, CI/IE/, Yard and Reclaim.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and provide vision, strategic leadership and direction for single Distribution/ Reclamation/GM and Transportation campus.
Daily responsibility for plant operations including quality and safety, shrink, transportation, and all aspects of meeting the needs of the internal customers (greater supply chain and retail) to provide on time and at cost deliveries, maintaining service level targets while optimizing distribution operations and controlling cost.
Ownership of alignment with and inegration into regional and network plans.
Manage all aspects of relationship with third party labor partner(s).
Own campus relationship with Retail leadership (Customer) in supporting a network strategic vision and direction to achieve financial, productivity, efficiency and service goals.
Develop long term strategies for the efficient planning and execution of facility physical product flow. Owns operating and capex budgets for facility.
Meet or exceed campus metrics and KPI's established to monitor and measure success and progress of the network.
Promote the continuous improvement of campus financial, technical, and social systems.
Contribute to network wide initiatives to include continuous improvement projects and total Supply Chain planning.
Qualifications:
8-10 Years Supply Chain operations Leadership
Past supervision of 100+ employees
BA in related field or 10+ years Supply Chain operations experience
Other Requirements:
15-25% travel availability
7 Day a week on Call
