The position requires performing various duties to maintain accurate inventory levels in the warehouse, including evaluating discrepancies, researching simple issues, and entering data into warehouse systems.
Auditing outbound cases for retail stores, providing technical support to receiving and shipping departments, and exchanging information with customers from retail, merchandising, trucking, and distribution sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains accurate inventory levels across all departments within the distribution center.
- Performs quality control and auditing tasks.
- Conducts perpetual cycle counts and supplemental count requirements within established timeframes.
- Monitors warehouse damage and initial resolution processes.
- Notifies relevant department leads about product discrepancies.
- Utilizes reports to investigate and expedite issues related to inventory discrepancies and audit results.
- Maintains organized files for efficient access to necessary information.
- Perform daily warehouse responsibilities in areas related to shipping, receiving, and/or inventory management.
- Recommends modifications to procedures or processes impacting their work group or distribution center to maximize efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs.
- Ensures compliance with ADUSA standards in areas of accuracy, safety, and productivity.
Requirements:
- Ability to reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to 60 pounds.
- Stand for long periods.
- Work in a warehouse environment with varying conditions (cool or warm temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks).
- Becoming forklift certified.
