Principle Duties And Responsibilities (essential Functions)
- Enter their work into the computer maintenance system throughout their work shift and able to use the
- Safely shut down systems they have been trained on.
- Perform simple tasks without instruction or guidance.
- Make sure all equipment meets standards, codes and regulatory requirements.
- The expectation is all Mechanic II roles can progress to Mechanic III through education and /or demonstrated
- Able to perform repairs by themselves after instruction form Mechanic III.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Schematic / blueprint reading
- Dexterity with both hands
- Serves as resource to others in resolution of complex problems and issues.
- Willing to work flexible hours / on call
- Mechanics are required to supply their own tools
- Perform work in difficult body positions and environmental conditions from time-to-time
- Learn more complex tasks as experience is gained
- High school graduate or equivalent diploma
- Prior experience in mechanical areas is desired
