Job Description
Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. The Corporate Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the company's staffing needs. This role requires a proactive and consultative approach to recruitment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
What will you do?
Learn the Retail industry and nuances of the aftermarket automotive competitive landscape
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on best practice
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection
Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms to identify and engage potential candidate
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment
What Does Success Look Like?
Fully engaged with other colleagues within the Talent Acquisition function and cross-functional partners
Willing to contribute to a culture of continuous learning by bringing best practices and learning from others on the team
Maintain the below metrics while managing 15-25 REQs at a time (subject to change)
Average time to fill under 90 days
Candidate satisfaction score of at least 4.0 out of 5.0
Hiring manager satisfaction score at least 4.0 out of 5.0
Offer acceptance rate of at least 80%
Minimum Qualifications:
3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience supporting corporate hiring managers (Tech, Product, Commercial, Merchandising, HR, Legal, or other functions)
Proficiency using various ATS/HRIS and sourcing tools
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple requisitions simultaneously
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Workday Recruiting, LinkedIn Recruiter, Phenom, and Indeed
Recruiting experience in the retail industry
Experience recruiting in a fast-paced recruiting environment in support of a company going through transformation
Location & Work Availability:
This position is 4 days in office, 1 day remote per week, based at our corporate headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina (North Hills)
