We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely and timely deliver products to customers
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers
- Follow delivery driving routes and time schedules
- Maintain ongoing communication with the dispatch team
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Skills
- Experience as a Courier or Delivery Driver is preferred
- Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmission
- Proficient in heavy lifting techniques
- Familiarity with driving box trucks and vans
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
- Previous experience in route driving is beneficial
- Commercial driving experience is an advantage
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
