TEAM MEMBER WILL NEED TO WORK FROM RALEIGH, NC HQ FOUR DAYS A WEEK.
SUMMARY
The Marketing Promotions Specialist reports to the Marketing Manager and is responsible for supporting the go-to-market strategy for Advance Professional. The Specialist will assist in the development and execution of multi-channel B2B promotions including coordinating procurement and distribution of rewards/prizes and promotional materials, communicating with suppliers and the sales organization, managing marketing placements on the loyalty platform, and reporting on promotion performance. The Specialist will also be a subject matter expert on the PRO loyalty platform and will be responsible for managing customer support inquiries. This position will partner closely with creative, sales, and product teams as well as with external business partners and suppliers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Coordinate Advance PRO’s marketing activations including maintaining and communicating the promotion schedule, organizing and executing marketing materials, measuring and reporting on promotion results, and invoicing suppliers.
- Work with merchants to coordinate and execute monthly Commodity Special flyers.
- Work closely with channel managers to support the coordination of promotional messaging on our communication platforms including email, social media, and digital ads.
- Administration of the loyalty platform includes promotional launches, validating customer lists and promo panels, and coordinating with third party management vendor.
- Work with vendor partners to procure and distribute earned promotional rewards and ensure their timely fulfillment.
- Content contributor to internal channels that support field awareness and engagement.
- Coordinate quarterly sales promo boxes including procuring and ordering items based on budget allowance, maintaining inventory, and fulfillment.
- Support development of print and digital promotional materials.
- Manages customer support inbox for loyalty platform.

- Highly proficient with MS Office software including Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Salesforce a plus

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or communications, is strongly desired but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, merchandising, sales, agency or retail environment
- Automotive aftermarket industry knowledge a plus
