What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position at Advance Behavior & Learning?
Advance Behavior & Learning utilizes applied behavior analysis to create effective individualized plans for children that result in improved learning, behavior and involvement in the community. We work with children from birth through adolescence on a variety of skills including:communication, cognitive skills, self-care skills, school readiness, and social/play skills. We serve families in the central Florida area that have concerns about their child’s development, language, behavior and/or learning. Our children range from those with formal diagnoses to those with no labels that may just be experiencing some challenges that require additional support.
Services are provided in the home and community through direct 1:1 therapy, home/school consults, IEP meeting support, and parent/staff training when appropriate. Advance Behavior & Learning is currently looking for experienced BCBAs to join our innovative team. All behavior therapists are responsible for direct implementation of programs and should be comfortable utilizing direct teaching methods as well as teaching in the natural environment.
· Provide input for staff management systems, with a focus on clinical issues
· Creates, implements, and monitors behavioral programs
· Performs intakes/assessments
· Oversees program quality by providing regular supervision for BCaBAs and behavior therapists
· Provides parent/staff training as necessary
Qualifications:
Applicants should have at least one year of experience working with
children implementing skill acquisition programs and managing problem behavior.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
· Willing to travel
· Self-motivated and creative
