What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter/ Framer position at Advance Employment?

JobSquad, formerly Advance Employment, is hiring full time Carpenter / Framer to perform consistent, steady work on a variety of residential projects throughout mid-Michigan. Candidate would be driving to foreman's location in Gregory, MI and riding with the crew to the job site each day.

Responsibilities :

Shaping, cutting, and fitting materials to specified measurements using hand or power tools.

Skills and Qualifications :

2 years minimum carpentry experience required

Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma or GED.

Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.

Must have reliable transportation.

Must be able to do basic math and read a tape measure.

Duties :

Wood framing

Metal Framing

Demolition and / or cleanup

Drywall hanging
