What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and receiving clerk position at Advance - Global Australian Professionals?
Job Description
Duties include but are not limited to :
- Maintain accurate records (electronically & physically) of paper rolls, raw material, quality checks, shipments & trailer boxes usage.
- Input & process incoming paper rolls into system to print labels
- Address customer inquiries & contribute to resolve any issues related to deliveries or orders.
- Communicate with drivers to provide them with necessary information to unload or load their trailer boxes.
- Schedule incoming trucks appointments.
- Check documents required accurately for either incoming or outgoing shipments.
- Generate daily reports as needed for shipments going in / out.
- Check incoming material to make sure all ordered material meets quality standards.
- Assist in tracking and managing inventory levels.
- Assist with periodic cycle counts and physical inventories
- Conduct Inspection to the raw material received at FTZ (Paper)
- Create reports to show evidence of the defective material
- Proper Identification of the Non-Conformance Material
- Scan and send inspection reports, BOL and Packing list weekly.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Skills :
- Operate the forklift : Safely maneuver the equipment to move, lift and stack materials
- Microsoft office, excel, word,powerpoint.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to relay information in a fast-paced environment.
- Use and knowling of measurement equipment such as caliper, micrometer and tape measure
- Previous knowling in quality inspections (preferable)
