Overview
We are looking for a skilled and creative Videographer and Editor to join our team. This individual will be responsible for shooting and editing high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, internal communications, and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is both a proficient videographer with a keen eye for capturing engaging footage and an experienced editor with the technical expertise to bring video projects to life from start to finish.
Duties
- Plan, shoot, and produce engaging video content, ensuring the final product aligns with project goals and brand messaging.
- Set up and operate cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and other production tools during video shoots.
- Capture footage for a variety of video types, including promotional videos, interviews, tutorials, product demos, and event coverage.
- Coordinate video production schedules, locations, and logistics, ensuring everything runs smoothly from pre-production to post-production.
- Edit raw footage into polished final products, including color correction, audio mixing, visual effects, and adding graphics as needed.
- Integrate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the visual storytelling.
- Create motion graphics, titles, and special effects to elevate video content (using tools like Adobe After Effects, if applicable).
- Ensure that videos are edited to meet the required technical specifications for various platforms (social media, websites, etc.).
- Maintain a consistent visual style and quality across all video projects.
- Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to understand the vision, brand guidelines, and objectives of each project.
- Contribute creative ideas and insights during brainstorming sessions to enhance video content.
- Revise video content based on feedback from stakeholders, ensuring the final product meets expectations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and video production techniques to continually improve content quality.
- Organize and manage video assets (footage, graphics, audio, etc.), ensuring all files are properly labeled, stored, and accessible for future use.
- Archive completed video projects and maintain organized workflows to streamline future editing processes.
- Support live streaming of events, webinars, or other online broadcasts, ensuring high-quality video and audio production.
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure smooth streaming setup and execution.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Videographer and Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with audio editing or sound design.
- Familiarity with video production for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, TikTok).
- Understanding of SEO and best practices for video content optimization.
Education:
- A degree in Film Production, Video Production, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Equivalent practical experience and a strong portfolio will be considered.
- Expertise in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Proficiency in motion graphics and visual effects (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Blender) is a plus.
- Experience with shooting video using various cameras, drones, and lighting setups.
- Strong understanding of color grading, sound design, and post-production processes.
- Knowledge of video file formats, codecs, and resolution settings for different platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Creative mindset with the ability to adapt to different styles and project requirements.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, collaborating with other departments.
- Good communication skills and the ability to take and implement feedback from team members and clients.
- Familiarity with live streaming platforms (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook Live) is a plus.
