The reporter will be responsible for :
- Daily, audience-focused reporting on Huntsville, Alabama, the state's largest city and a technology, aerospace and manufacturing center
- Coverage of topics Huntsville cares about : government accountability, population growth and change, public safety, business, transportation infrastructure and the aspirations and challenges inherent in a fast-growing metro like Huntsville
- Using metrics to inform content choices and better understand reader interests
- Experimenting with story topics and styles in an effort to better serve the audience
- Seeking out and engaging with a variety of sources to fully represent the people in our communities
