MassLive Media, part of Advance Local, is a top news and entertainment media network. We are industry experts in developing custom, multimedia campaigns that include all types of digital marketing strategies including programmatic audio, video and display programs, custom social media marketing strategies, content marketing and SEM and so much more.
The Sales Manager will manage day-to-day sales activities of a regional team of Account Executives. Your primary responsibilities will be to help guide and grow the sales team through a consultative and strategic sales approach. The ideal person is curious by nature and loves helping to solve problems for both our clients and teammates. A creative mindset will also be hugely beneficial. We are looking for a high-energy leader with successful digital media experience who knows how to drive results by coaching, training, and mentoring to others.
Your team will be expected to consistently maintain a healthy sales funnel and work to close business at a high velocity under your leadership.
Responsibilities include:
Hybrid schedule with expectation of one or two days/week for staff meetings in office.
Compensation for this position is comprised of a base salary plus incentive compensation. The base salary range is $98,000 to $103,000 per year. Additional incentives bring total potential compensation to $147,000 to $154,500.

Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for team performance and development to ensure efficient operations, excellent customer service, and effective sales and marketing of company products
- Train and coach, the team on value-based selling techniques
- Serve as a marketing consultant by providing industry insights through up-to-date knowledge of industry trends
- Proactively identify opportunities for growth and responsible for closing/managing certain accounts
- Open doors with marketing executives and advertising agencies
- Set Account Executives benchmarks and measure performance on a weekly and monthly basis providing weekly feedback on individual and team performance
- Build relationships/partnerships through networking
- Work in collaboration with management to ensure overall digital sales goals are achieved
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in business, marketing, or relevant field
- Five years of experience with three years of relevant management experience building successful sales teams
- CRM sales management software experience with a leading platform, SalesForce is ideal
- Excellent communication and presentation skills -- written and verbal
- Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
- This job requires reliable transportation and travel to meet with clients
- Extensive computer use required.
