Advance Local is seeking a Sports Betting Clerk to help support our growing Sports Betting and iGaming team!
The Sports Betting Clerk will help to support the Sports Betting & iGaming leadership team and Strategic Partnerships Manager by providing administrative support, content coordination, and quality assurance testing. This includes content planning and optimization such as prescribed content updates, cross-linking, and testing of technical code. This position will also have oversight of shared documents that require ongoing maintenance and quality assurance work for multiple stakeholders, including newsrooms, partners, and the Sports Betting & iGaming team.
The base salary for this position is $40,000 annually.

What you'll be doing:
- Perform general clerical duties related to the creation and monetization of sports betting and iGaming content on multiple websites
- Assist with the organization, scheduling, and tracking of content creation, newsletters, and publishing workflows
- Update spreadsheets, dashboards, and other tools with accurate and current materials including links and codes
- Serve as a liaison between several departments, newsrooms, and partners, ensuring timely communication and document sharing
- Review and proofread content for accuracy, formatting, and adherence to brand guidelines as well as technical reviews of revenue widgets, links, and code
- Help coordinate meeting and content calendars, meeting agendas and deadlines
- Collect content examples, images, links, and other elements needed for articles or strategic analysis by request
- Support responses to internal or external queries related to sports betting and iGaming content in coordination with team leadership
- One year of clerical or administrative experience, ideally in content, media, or a sports-related environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and under deadline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), content management systems, and collaboration tools (e.g. Slack, Teams)
- Basic understanding of sports and sports betting terminology
- Ability to manage multiple high-level tasks and prioritize work
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively and build strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to make sound decisions and produce accurate work on deadline
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
