Job Description Location: New York, NY Architectural Digest is seeking an experienced Designer to join its team full-time. Reporting to the Creative Director and working in a close, fast-paced environment, the ideal candidate has a passion for interior design, architecture, culture, and the arts with experience in multiplatform design (print, digital, social), visual strategy, typography, video and creative ideation. Responsibilities include: Work with the Creative Director to maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic and identity across all platforms including print, digital, social, video, and brand extensions Design graphics and layouts for editorial content in print, from layout to press, working with editorial, visual, production, and post-production teams. Develop and/or execute design elements for video, social, and digital platforms, including optimizing photos, resizing images, and creating artwork as needed. Work closely with senior creative team members to develop concepts and moodboards to create cohesive, unique visual stories across all platforms Assist with developing design approaches for AD events, social media initiatives, and other brand campaigns Make visual assets for newsletters, e-commerce, and marketing Required Skills & Qualifications: 2 years minimum of experience in a fast-paced, creative environment, media, or similar field Excellent eye for design, type, imagery, detail, storytelling, and all visual elements Excellent design skills, both creative and technical, across multiple platforms Excellent command in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and other relevant design software Experience working in video and motion graphics, working in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and other relevant video editing software is a plus Strong collaboration, time-management, communication, and organizational skills Enjoy staying current on design trends and industry technology This is a guild position. The expected base salary range for this position is from $68,000-$71,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education. What happens next?
