Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of industrial maintenance, including electrical, pneumatic, HVAC, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. This role is crucial for ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff, ensuring effective performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and tools to identify issues and implement timely repairs.
- Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, employing tools such as voltmeters for diagnostics.
- Oversee HVAC systems maintenance, ensuring optimal operation and compliance with regulations.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
- Train and mentor team members in best practices for industrial maintenance and facilities management.
- Reports to Plant Manager on daily basis for reports and updates job progress
Requirements
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to procure parts and maintenance consumables from outside vendors
- 5 years’ maintenance experience
- Supervisor or Management experience perfered
- Able to lead root cause analysis investigations
- Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising maintenance teams.
- Solid understanding of industrial maintenance practices, including electrical systems, mechanical knowledge, HVAC, and facilities management.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Experience using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters for troubleshooting purposes.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on safety and efficiency in all tasks performed.
