Description
Advance Testing Company, Inc. is currently seeking a Part-Time Administrative Services Specialist at our main office in Campbell Hall, NY.
Advance Testing, an established New York-based construction materials testing and inspection firm with several offices throughout the Northeast, has an opportunity available for a Part-Time Administrative Services Specialist.
The Administrative Services Specialist will be our administrative "Jack of all trades" and provide office support to Advance Testing's various departments and team members. Hours for the position will be 25 hours per week.
Administrative Services Specialist - RESPONSIBLITIES
Help with office paperwork and various other office tasks
Assist with the maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions
Prepare and process accounts payable checks, and ACH payments
1099 maintenance and preparation
Code invoices into system
Maintain confidentiality of information
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
Must be willing to step in and assist outside of normal day to day responsibilities when needed
Administrative Services Specialist - QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of administrative assistant related experience
Basic understanding of accounting
Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, Word, etc.
Experience working with Paychex and QuickBooks
Must be extremely detail oriented, organized and can prioritize tasks, and able to work independently
Excellent communications skills
Able to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to clearly communicate with supervisors, clients, and other team members
Requires a valid, clean driver's license
