Quality Manager

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.)

Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.

Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.

Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products. Oversees and witnesses welding and brazing qualification testing activities.

Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability.

Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality.

Evaluates Risk Management as it pertains to specific customer orders during the quoting process and contract review

NCR/CAR management

Prepare and Facilitate audits (Internal, AS9100, ISO1001, Nadcap, Customer)

Update & maintain internal Procedures and Work Instructions per 3rd party or customer requirements

Verify and sign off outside services/vendor certifications

Verify and sign off Certificate of Compliance (cert)

Maintain shop equipment maintenance logs

Maintain calibration system

Contract review of job packages before going to shop floor

Maintain Welder Qualification system

Maintain Safety committee and conduct periodic employee safety meetings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
