We are hiring at PHASE-Industries for Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our day skill discovery program. We are looking for caring and compassionate people who are fun, caring, and have a positive attitude. This individual wants to make a difference in the lives of adults with disabilities and help support and teach them the skills to obtain employment and gain independence. A DSP works closely with our Program Individuals providing person centered, community inclusive supports, supervision, daily living skills, teaching, and overall support in a work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and support to individuals in a group home setting.
- Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document patient observations to ensure their well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Collaborate with team members to implement care plans and promote social engagement.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations while providing care.
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid MN Driver's License with clear driving record
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a MN DHS Background Study
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- One year of direct care experience preferred but not required
