AdvanceCare Health Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to support HR functions within the Human Resource Department. We are looking for an individual with basic knowledge of HR concepts, that possesses a high level of energy coupled with great attention to detail. Duties involve onboarding new hires, maintaining personnel files, orienting new employees, and more. This is an entry-level position and there will be on-the-job training.
This is a full-time work-from-home position. You must have high-speed internet and to have a 27" or larger monitor, keyboard & mouse for use with our company laptop. (If you live within a 1-hour drive of the office, we can loan you a monitor, keyboard & mouse as well as the laptop).
Duties:
- Assists in the hiring process by ensuring candidates complete the pre-employment screens
- Administer pre-employment tests and background screen requests
- Assist in onboarding new employees and conducting orientation sessions
- Orienting new employees to the organization
- Preparing new employee files
- Maintaining current HR files and databases
- Manage employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
- Completing termination paperwork and assisting with exit interviews
- Maintaining computer system by updating and entering data
- Ensuring background and reference checks
- Assists in maintaining confidential human resources records.
- Ensures compliance in various self-audit
- Assist in onboarding new employees and conducting orientation sessions
- Manage employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
- Support training and development initiatives for staff members
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned and as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
- Must be able to prioritize, and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of office computer applications
- Must possess personal qualities related to respect for the rights and confidentiality of others.
- Must possess a high level of skill in communication, both written and verbal.
- Must be flexible and organized
- Ability to maintain effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform essential job functions above
