Job Summary
AdvanceCare Health Services is seeking a full-time Staffing Coordinator. As a Staffing Coordinator for our Home Care Division, you will play a crucial role in the staffing of caregivers. We are looking for an independent, self-starting, and reliable individual that possesses a high level of energy coupled with great attention to detail.
This is an entry-level position, there will be on-the-job training. The ideal candidate for this will be a person with basic knowledge of HR concepts. He/she must be willing and eager to learn how to apply those concepts in an office setting. Duties involve onboarding new hires, maintaining personnel files, orienting new employees, and more.
This is a full-time position. Must have high-speed internet.
Duties:
- Assists in the hiring process by ensuring candidates complete the pre-employment screens
- Administer pre-employment tests and background screen requests
- Orienting new employees to the organization
- Preparing new employee files
- Maintaining current HR files and databases
- Completing termination paperwork and assisting with exit interviews
- Maintaining computer system by updating and entering data
- Ensuring background and reference checks
- Assists in maintaining confidential human resources records.
- Ensures compliance in various self-audits
- Files documents in personnel and accounting
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned and as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
- Must be able to prioritize, and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of office computer applications
- Must possess personal qualities related to respect for the rights and confidentiality of others.
- Must possess a high level of skill in communication, both written and verbal.
- Must be flexible and organized
- Ability to maintain effective verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to perform essential job functions above
