Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Asbestos Supervisor to oversee all aspects of asbestos abatement projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, supervising project teams, and maintaining high standards of quality throughout the abatement process. This role of asbestos supervisor is critical in protecting the health and safety of our clients and workers while restoring environments affected by asbestos.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage asbestos abatement projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Supervise and train project teams on safe work practices related to asbestos removal and mold remediation.
- Conduct site assessments to identify asbestos-containing materials and evaluate the extent of contamination.
- Coordinate with environmental agencies, contractors, and clients to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including safety inspections, incident reports, and compliance records.
- Build strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or questions regarding the abatement process.
- Restore affected areas post-abatement to ensure they meet safety standards for reoccupation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in asbestos abatement management or a related field is essential.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and guidelines pertaining to asbestos handling and mold remediation.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality assurance.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, team members, and regulatory agencies.
- Relevant certification in asbestos supervision is required

Pay: $22.50 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
