We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance, with a focus on commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct industrial cleaning operations to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Execute floor care duties
- Carry out custodial tasks including restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies.
- Maintain facilities by performing minor maintenance tasks and reporting any repair needs to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are clean, organized, and safe for use.
- Serve as a porter when necessary, assisting with the movement of equipment or materials throughout the facility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
