Overview
We are seeking a full time Traveling Medical Assistant/Receptionist for our Wexford PA, Steubenville OH, Weirton WV, Washington PA, Sewickley PA, Beaver PA locations. This position will required to travel. During training period the medical assistant will have to travel to other locations for the training. We are fast-paced Allergy specialist office. Must have excellent interpersonal skills (both in person and on the phone). Ability to learn and oversee all aspects of the front and back office. The Medical Assistant will primarily room patients, patient tirage, and cross train to work the front desk! Computer friendly. Experienced with EMR and paper charts. Desired hire must be professional, dependable, flexible, able to multitask. Clear communication with doctors and other staff is imperative. Experience with insurances required.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist with coding and billing processes as needed.
- Handle incoming calls, messages, and inquiries promptly.
- Provide basic life support when necessary and assist in medication administration.
- Monitor vital signs and assist with patient service needs during visits.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow within the practice.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.50 per hour
