What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at Advanced Allergy Asthma & Immunology?
Advanced Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology is a fast-growing medical practice looking for a medical receptionist to join our team of dedicated, caring, medical professionals. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic and immunologic disorders affecting both children and adults.
Our Allergist/Immunologists diagnose and treat the full spectrum of allergic and immunodeficiency disorders, including but not limited to asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergies, chronic sinusitis, venom allergies, drug reactions, eczema, hives, primary immunodeficiency, and latex allergies.
We offer an array of services including skin testing, immunotherapy (allergy shots), asthma evaluations including spirometry with current asthma treatments including biologic therapy.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude, thrive in a fast-paced environment, be organized, detail oriented and have at least 2 years experience with the following:
- EHR systems
- Answering multi-line phone systems
- Patient scheduling
- Insurance
- Prioritizing competing tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
