Position Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the recruitment process for various manufacturing and professional roles within AA TECH. This position involves sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for positions such as production operators, engineers, and skilled trades. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building a skilled and diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies to attract skilled candidates for manufacturing and professional positions, including but not limited to production, engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance roles.
- Sourcing Candidates: Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, industry-specific platforms, and local trade schools, to identify potential candidates.
- Pipeline Development: Create pipelines of talent through local schools, community colleges, etc.
- Screening and Interviewing: Conduct initial screenings and interviews to evaluate candidates’ technical skills, experience, and cultural fit within the organization.
- Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop accurate job descriptions that reflect the requirements of each role.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication and feedback to all applicants.
- Offer Management: Prepare and extend job offers, negotiate terms and conditions, and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires in accordance with company policies.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of candidates and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and generate reports to track recruitment metrics.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitive compensation packages to inform recruitment strategies.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives in recruitment efforts to build a diverse workforce that reflects the communities served.
- Employer Branding: Assist in promoting the company’s employer brand through participation in job fairs, community events, and partnerships with local educational institutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3 -5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with technical roles in manufacturing, such as engineering, machining, welding, and maintenance.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software. Familiarity with social media recruiting tools and platforms. Proficient with use of job posting boards, such as LinkedIn, really etc.

Typical Mental and Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to walk, stand, stoop, bend, crawl, climb and sit for extended periods of time. The team member is required to demonstrate manual dexterity and use hands to operate machinery. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Also expected of the team member is regular attendance and the ability to work cooperatively and professionally with others. May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Primarily office-based. Occasional travel may be required for job fairs, community outreach, and partnerships with educational institutions.
