Job Summary
As a Value Stream Leader at Advanced Atomization Technologies, you will lead multiple internal operations to achieve results aligned with our operational strategy deployment goals. You will foster a team of empowered employees to continuously meet and exceed customer expectations.
Scope:
You will provide leadership for Value Stream operations employees, overseeing cross-functional activities including Production, Continuous Improvement, Engineering, Procurement, Human Resources, and Quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety and Lean Initiatives: Drive the adoption and implementation of Safety and Lean Initiatives throughout Value Streams.
- Premier Customer Service: Establish and maintain exceptional customer service standards.
- Inventory Management and Logistics: Ensure adequate inventory, production control scheduling, shipping/receiving, and logistics within the operation.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budget plans to optimize resource allocation.
- Leadership and Development: Promote team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development to drive a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing improvement initiatives for all business metrics (cycle time, OTD, FTY, efficiency, scrap, and takt).
- Development Programs: Support employee development programs to enhance skill sets and knowledge.
- Delivery Needs: Meet the delivery requirements of Value Streams.
- Cost Center Objectives: Contribute to meeting cost center objectives while ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Empowerment Teams: Facilitate and implement empowerment teams to promote collaboration and innovation.
- Manpower and Equipment Planning: Directly oversee manpower and equipment planning and execution.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or Technical field, or Master's/Doctorate degree in Business or Technical field.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of manufacturing/operations and lean manufacturing background and experience.
- Cross-Functional Team Experience: Proven ability to lead or collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, planning, operations, and quality organizations.
- Lean Principles: Strong practical knowledge of Lean principles such as Value Stream Mapping, Just-in-time, Demand Flow, Single Piece Flow, Standard Work, 5S, Quick Changeover, Visual Management, TPM, Pull Systems, Continuous Improvement Process, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or similar tools.
