What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Fabricator position at Advanced Automation, LLC?
Advanced Automation LLC is currently seeking a full-time Entry Level Fabricator. This Person should have basic metal fabrication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced, high mix/low volume production environment. The person should be highly motived with the ability work independently once trained. Job functions include, but are not limited to:
· Cutting, Drilling, Deburring, Grinding
· Assembly of fabricated components
· Operating a Waterjet (Training available)
· Operating CNC and Manual Bandsaws
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The candidate should be highly motivated and able to work independently. The person should be able to stay focused and can carry out written and oral instruction. On the job training will be provided, as necessary. The candidate should be able to:
· Demonstrate basic fabrication skills
· Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
· Read and understand part drawings and work orders
· Welding experience is a plus.
· Waterjet or Laser experience is a plus.
· Press brake experience is a plus
· Experience with Solidworks or similar CAD package is a plus.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Experience with job requirements above recommended but not required.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
· Climbing, bending, and some light to moderate lifting and carrying, fine motor skills, able to grasp small items, kneeling, ability to perform repetitive motion, ability to stand and walk all day.
· Must be able to identify audible hazard sounds and be aware of the environment around them.
· Mental comprehension, reasoning, and communications.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
· Minimal (local if any).
