Maintenance Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various systems within our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally, contributing to a safe and efficient environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Supervise maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Fabricate parts and components as needed for repairs or improvements.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
• Conduct electrical repairs and installations as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally.
• Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards of properties.
• Weld components when necessary to ensure structural integrity.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively.
• Experience in supervising maintenance teams or projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in fabrication techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for efficient maintenance management.
• Basic electrical skills for installation and repair tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Experience in residential painting is a plus.
• Welding skills are beneficial for this role.
