Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dental procedures, including prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontic treatments.
- Administer local anesthesia and manage pain control for patients during procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote overall dental health.
- Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic system and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff members to provide exceptional patient care.
- Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment for both patients and staff.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience in performing endodontics, including root canal therapy, is preferred.
- Knowledge of prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control measures in a dental office setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
