Position Summary
The Account Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing key client accounts, ensuring high service standards, and driving operational excellence. This role will focus on strategic account management, identifying growth opportunities, and enhancing operational efficiency across client sites. The ideal candidate must have extensive janitorial operations experience and be based in San Jose, CA, with regular travel to other client sites as per a defined schedule. The Account Director will work closely with clients to understand their evolving needs, propose tailored solutions, and ensure seamless service execution while identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to meet client expectations and contract requirements.
- Oversee day-to-day janitorial operations at client sites, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support business growth and expansion opportunities within key accounts.
- Monitor and manage performance metrics, service levels, and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess operations, address challenges, and foster strong client relationships.
- Work closely with site managers and operations teams to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Provide leadership and direction to on-site teams to ensure seamless execution of janitorial services.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings while maintaining service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Prepare and present reports on operational performance, client feedback, and service enhancements.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 year of experience in janitorial operations management or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage key accounts and foster long-term client relationships.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work on-site at client locations five days a week and travel to additional sites on a scheduled basis.
- Experience in multi-site operations management is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field is a plus.

Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
