Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dependable maintenance technician to join our team to play a crucial role in performing routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, and machinery. This role ensures that all systems are operating efficiently and safely, ensuring a clean, safe, and functional environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment, machinery, and building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting systems.

Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Report any unsafe conditions or equipment to management.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including work orders, inventory of supplies, and equipment maintenance logs.
- Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of exterior, Exterior task examples include, but are not limited to:
- Roof drain inspections and debris removal
- Wet patch roof leaks
- Awning inspection and minor maintenance
- Calking of minor cracks in walls, window frames, building fixtures and bollards
- Maintain configure and store patio furniture
- Parking lot painting
- Pressure washing
- Visual inspection and report of water main valves and booster pumps
- Door hinge and latch adjustments
- Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of interior spaces. Interior tasks examples include, but are not limited to:
- Furniture, equipment, and office moves
- Universal Waste management (batteries, lamps, etc.)
- Facility hardware installation (door stops, coat and bag hooks, shelving, whiteboards, seismic restraints)
- Uncrating deliveries and crate disposal
- Painting and minor wall repair
- Office and production room vent cleaning
- Replacement of ceiling tiles, lamps, and ballasts
- Fire sprinkler escutcheon replacement
- Minor sheetrock repair and texture matching
- Finish electrical replacement and maintenance (switch and outlet covers, etc.)
- Cove base repair and replacement
- Minor signage installation
- Floor work: carpet square replacement, minor VCT repairs, minor ceramic tile repairs, minor concrete repairs.
- Restroom and breakroom work: maintenance of partition doors, hinges and closures, minor exposed plumbing leak repair, replacement and installation of dispensers, replacement of faucets, and unclogging of blocked drains.
- Coffee stations/kitchens/breakrooms: replacement of garbage disposals, fixture replacement and repairs, water filter replacement, appliance removal, and installation.
- Miscellaneous: Vendor management and escorting of contractors, proper disposal of appliances and excess waste per quotation, monitor lighting inventory and order as needed, monitor office and/or consumable supply and order as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical or vocation training in maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Basic knowledge of building systems, include HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
