We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Hematology-Oncology to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients’ health status, including vital signs and symptoms related to oncology treatments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and clinical guidelines.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, including discharge planning and follow-up services.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, side effects, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide support for patients experiencing acute care needs or urgent situations related to their condition.
Requirements
- Current NP/PA license in the state of Arizona.
- Strong knowledge of physiology relevant to oncology.
- Experience in Oncology is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with coding practices related to oncology treatments is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality of care.
