Duties
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care, including taking medical histories and recording vital signs.
- Administer medications as directed by physicians and ensure proper documentation.
- Perform coding for patient records and assist with billing processes.
- Support outpatient services by preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Provide basic life support when necessary, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Engage in dermatology procedures as required, assisting with treatments and follow-up care.
- Utilize electronic health record systems to manage patient information efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an urgent care or outpatient setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and coding practices.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient service and care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with dermatology practices is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must possess a strong commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
