What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Operator position at Advanced Ceramic Coatings?
Position Summary
The Production Operator performs automated Thermal Spray, Slurry, Chamfer, Laser and Ultra Sonic machine applications as well as prep-work such as sanding, gritting, and taping of parts. This position reports to the Shift Supervisor.
Essential Functions
1. Run automated Thermal Spray coating booth,Slurry Spinner, Chamfer, Laser and Ultra Sonic equipment.
2. Use calibrated instruments to perform critical measurements.
3. Check and maintain key process parameters.
4. Perform standard maintenance activities on guns and equipment.
5. Keep the fixtures clean and ready to operate.
6. Prep-work of parts.
7. Sanding and or gritting of parts.
8. Taping and masking of parts.
9. Assist and perform duties as assigned by their supervisor.
10. Enter Data into Electronic Log Books using Microsoft Excel, Word or other computer software.
11. Use of powered industrial trucks and/or overhead conveyor systems.
12. Working in the Company's Quality and Safety System context, in accordance with its procedures and requirements.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
This job operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computes, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, with additional hours as business needs necessitate.
Travel
Occasional overseas and domestic travel may be required to support the rapid growth of the company.

5. Must be able to plan, prioritize, and perform work in an efficient manner to meet schedules
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
