Such tasks may include : Work in small team environment to accomplish production objectivesMonitor inventories, work in process, and prepare raw materialsEnforce safety standards in all operationsRecord and maintain production documentationAbility to follow existing manufacturing processes and instructions but be able to define new processes parameters and streamline existing processes as appropriateEnsure proper functioning and maintenance of process equipment and toolsProduce articles under a set timeline during productionTroubleshoot various production issuesEducation : Bachelor or Associate degree in engineering, physics, chemistry or other science / technology field is desired. High school diploma with relevant experience may be considered.Experience : A proven track record of successfully performing production tasks with three or more years of manufacturing or laboratory experience is desired.Knowledge : Well-balanced technical background with focus on ceramic and other related materials or basic knowledge of chemical compounds is desired. Detailed knowledge of a wide variety of production / manufacturing processes is desired.Essential Physical Requirements : Ability to safely weigh, mix and test materials and operate laboratory / manufacturing equipment. Some heavy lifting required.Special Requirements : US citizenship is required.
