What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager (Brighton/Windsor) position at Advanced Chemical Transport LLC?
The Environmental Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating efforts between projects and leading the overall program with strong attention to strategy, implementation, and delegation. The Program Manager serves as the main contact and primary interface between Customer and ACTenviro operations. The Program Manager is responsible for and manages all aspects of the Solid Waste and Recycling program and ensures that ACTenviro meets all contractual obligations are met.
Accountabilities
- Manage and oversee all functions and responsibilities of Supervisors and Field Technicians across two customer sites and six (6) shifts
- Single point of contact in interfacing with Stakeholders, to include escalations, feedback, reporting, metrics monitoring, and oversight of daily program activities
- Ensure all services and responsibilities, as outlined in the contract, are performed proficiently and in a safe and compliant manner
- Attend all necessary meetings/virtual calls that may pertain to execution of contracted services
- Develop and present waste and environmental reporting and operational analysis for Stakeholders
- Interview, hire, and onboard all ACTenviro personnel performing services at Customer sites
- Support overall operations, planning, development, and growth of program
- Availability to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Daily Activities
- Report to alternating customer sites; Brighton, CO and Windsor, CO
- Assign tasks required to satisfy contractual and program requirements
- Audit services to support operational and contractual requirements
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure services are completed to satisfaction
- Provide training to staff and stakeholders to support program deliverables
Weekly Activities
- Review and approve team’s time sheets for payroll and billing
- Review and track solid waste/recycling movements and waste diversion metrics for operational and reporting purposes
- Review operational equipment and supply needs
- Create and manage Internal Stakeholder meeting
Monthly Activities
- Submit receipts and supporting documents for month end Invoicing
- Update and present program status to internal and external Stakeholders
- Support and execute HSE Programs and Initiatives (Compliance)
Skills and Experience
- Must have working knowledge of Solid Waste and Recycling programs. Experience in Hazardous waste transportation, disposal and treatment methods a plus.
- Must be able to manage a team of 15-20 direct employees
- Project and Vendor Management experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Health and Safety conscious
- Job Task Hazard Analysis (JTHA), Health and Safety Plan (HASP), Incident Investigation
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- A strong work ethic, a self-starter, ability to multi-task with attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk long distances (5 miles)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen, physical exam, and drug screen
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Valid driver’s license
- 40hr HAZWOPER (a plus)
- Forklift Certified (a plus)
- DOT and RCRA Certifications (a plus)
