What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at Advanced Chemical Transport LLC?
The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the efforts of On-Site Program Managers and Operations Supervisors, with a key focus on strategic planning, program implementation, and effective delegation. Serving as the primary liaison between On-Site staff and ACTenviro (ACT), the PM ensures seamless communication and collaboration. The PM holds overall accountability for the success of all On-Site programs, ensuring that ACT meets and exceeds its contractual obligations for each program.
Responsibilities
• Oversee all functions and responsibilities of On-Site PMs and Supervisors
• Interface with On-site leadership/stakeholders, to include KPI performance metrics monitoring
• Ensure all services and responsibilities, as outlined in the Customers’ Scope of Work are performed proficiently and in a safe and compliant manner
• Attend all necessary meetings/virtual calls that may pertain to ACT’s execution of services
• Ensure On-site PMs/Supervisors develop and provide waste and environmental reports and operational analysis as required by customer and/or ACT
• Support On-site PMs/Supervisors with interviews, hires, and onboarding all ACT On-site personnel as necessary
• Work with On-site PMs’/Supervisors’ cross functional groups to support overall operations, planning, and development in support of Customer’s expansion and growth
• Monitor and support On-site PMs/Supervisors to ensure all tasks are being completed in a safe and timely manner
• Perform other assignments as given by management
• Availability to work weekends and extended hours as needed
Daily Activities
• Review, triage, and assign tasks required to satisfy contractual and program requirements with On-site PMs/Supervisors
Weekly Activities
• Review and approve Direct Reports’ timesheets
• Hold Operational Meetings with Direct Reports and provide summary to GM
• Attend GM lead Operations Meeting Monthly Activities
• Ensure all On-site Work Orders are submitted for Laserfiche data entry for invoicing by month- end deadline
• Review with On-site PMs/Supervisor their full audit of each of their On-site location they’re responsible for compliance with contractual obligations
• Provide monthly report to GM on current status of each On-site location
Skills and Experience
• Must have working knowledge of hazardous waste disposal and treatment methods
• Program Management experience (preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Health and Safety conscious
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms such as Sugar or Salesforce.com
• A strong work ethic, a self-starter, manage multiple priorities and manage details
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50 pounds
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen, physical exam, and drug screen
Education and Training
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience in program management
• Proven stakeholder management skills
• Valid driver’s license
