What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at Advanced Chemical Transport LLC?
The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating efforts between projects and lead the overall program with strong attention to strategy, implementation, and delegation. The Program Manager serves as the main contact and primary interface between Vestas and ACTenviro. The Program Manager is responsible for and manages all aspects of the program and ensures that ACTenviro meets all contractual obligations connected with the program.
Accountabilities
- Manage and oversee all functions and responsibilities of Supervisors, Field Technician(s), Dangerous Goods personnel, and Field Chemists
- Single point of contact in interfacing with Vestas leadership, to include escalations, feedback, reporting, metrics monitoring, and oversight of day-to-day responsibilities
- Ensure all services and responsibilities, as outlined in the contract, are performed proficiently and in a safe and compliant manner
- Attend all necessary meetings/virtual calls that may pertain to ACTenviro’s execution of services
- Develop and provide waste and environmental reports and operational analysis for both Vestas and ACTenviro
- Interview, hire, and onboard all ACTenviro personnel performing services at Vestas sites
- Work with Vestas’ cross functional groups to support overall operations, planning, and development in support of Vestas’ expansion and growth
- Monitor and support all technicians and supervisors working at Vestas sites to ensure all tasks are being completed in a safe and timely manner
- Perform other assignments as given by management
- Availability to work weekends and extended hours as needed
Daily Activities
- Review, triage, and assign Tasks required to satisfy contractual and program requirements
- Document and communicate results of daily work to Vestas and ACTenviro stakeholders
Weekly Activities
- Review and approve team’s timesheets
- Review and approve team’s Vestas system time entries
- Review and track waste manifests from shipments each week
- Review and track waste diversion metrics for each week
Monthly Activities
- Submit Employee Hours and Supply Invoice spreadsheets to Office Manager
- Conduct full audit of each facility’s active areas for compliance with contractual obligations
Skills and Experience
- Must have working knowledge of hazardous waste disposal and treatment methods
- Project Management experience (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Health and Safety conscious
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms such as Sugar or Salesforce.com
- A strong work ethic, a self-starter, manage multiple priorities and manage details
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen, physical exam, and drug screen
Education and Training
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in program management
- Proven stakeholder management skills
- Valid driver’s license
