We are seeking a highly organized and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer support and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming phone calls using a 2-line system.
- Schedule patient appointments.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Handle correspondence, including emails and mail distribution.
- Maintain organized filing systems for patient records and other documents.
- Assist with insurance verification of coverage for patients.
- Handle patient payments involving cash, checks, and credit cards.
- Support office operations by performing administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy and presentable at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience as a chiropractic receptionist or medical receptionist is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including familiarity with office software applications.
- Experience with data entry is essential; attention to detail is critical.
- Experience as a personal assistant or in customer support roles will be considered an asset.
