Position: Production Manager
Compensation Depending on Experience starting at $90,000

- Lead and implement manufacturing process improvements to optimize workflows and enhance productivity.
- Develop team capabilities through effective hiring, training, and development programs.
- Manage projects efficiently, ensuring clear and strong communication across teams, from CNC machinists to Inspection and Leadership.
- Utilize CNC programming skills to support and enhance manufacturing processes.
- Supervise and manage a team of 20 manufacturing team members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Maintain good tenure and contribute to a stable, positive work environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing process improvement.
- Ability to program 2-axis and 3-axis CNC lathes
- Significant experience in lathe machining, including tool/insert selection
- Able to manage and develop/train current machinists and hire new machinists as needed
- Measure performance of machinists to ensure we are processing jobs efficiently
- Help management implement lean manufacturing principles
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
- Proven track record of tenure in previous roles.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on communication and collaboration.
- Proficiency in CNC programming.
- Experience with ERP software operation.
- Strong leadership and team development abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with various departments.
- CAD/CAM experience preferred.
- Experience in machining thin-walled parts out of nickel materials preferred.
- Experience with Global Shop or a different ERP system is preferred.
